ENTRY REGULATIONS

1 There is no entry fee.

2 General information

You can enter films produced after 1 January 2003. One filmmaker – the director or the editor – may enter not more than two films. The preview jury decides which category the films will be screened in. The organizers will provide free accommodation for one representative of each film selected for the competition by the preview jury.

3 Entry form

The entry form may be photocopied or downloaded from the Festival website: www.tiszamozi.hu. If you enter two films, please use a separate entry form for each work. Fill out the entry form, sign it and send it to the Festival’s address with the following materials:

• a short introduction and filmography of the director / editor, which will be published in the Festival catalogue.
• a still of the director / editor
• a still from the film
• the dialogue list or narrated text of the film in English (compulsory to send if the film is accepted for screening!)
• - media coverage of the film (if available)

4 Information on the film copies

We can only accept films on VHS PAL tapes (or DVDs) for preselection. The preview tapes will remain in the Festival archives; we will not return them. The organizers are not able to pay any rental or screening fee.

The original prints selected for screening must be available for the Festival from 20 October to 27 November 2006, or after previous agreement, they can be delivered to the Festival by a representative of the film.

The films must be sent prepaid. The Festival will pay only for their return. They will be returned within two weeks after the end of the Festival, or they can be received personally after the screening. In case the film should be sent to a different address, this has to be specified on the entry form.

We are not prepared to pay any customs charges or cover the costs of reshipment of any films that arrive late for screening.

Due to negative shipment experiences, we can accept 16mm and 35mm films for screening only under reasonable circumstances, or if they are personally delivered for the Festival.

Note that the tapes and prints should have a declared value less than 20 Euro, otherwise there is a long and costly customs procedure, which we would like to avoid. Please write „NO COMMERCIAL VALUE – FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES” on the the parcels when shipping tapes and prints.

If the print is damaged during transportation hindering its screening, we will report it to the filmmaker within one week in the hope of a possible replacement.
